Apparel and home textiles are where the gap between "sample you approve in Guangzhou" and "container you receive in Hamburg or New Jersey" is the largest. Fabric content substitutions (polyester-silk blends sold as 100% cotton), GSM lightness drift, size-spec tolerance drift across runs, and unapproved subcontracting to cheaper factories mid-order are all extremely common if no one is in the factory during the cutting phase. We run a 3-stage process: fabric-and-lab dips approved before cutting, size-spec set signed off before sewing, final inspection on finished goods after pressing and packing — so the style spec you confirmed on 15 sample pieces actually matches the 15,000 pieces in the container.

What We Source

From 100-unit private-label boutique runs to 50,000-piece uniform and promotional contracts. Specifics (construction, fabric content, GSM, print/artwork, embroidery, compliance) are always agreed in a written tech pack before cutting starts.

• Apparel & uniforms — men's/women's/children's cut-and-sew, t-shirts, hoodies, polo shirts, jeans, chinos, dresses, loungewear, activewear, corporate uniform, workwear, PPE hi-vis, chef/kitchen apparel, school uniforms.
• Fabrics & trims — 100% cotton (combed/ring-spun/carded), polyester, cotton/poly CVC, viscose, linen, modal, recycled polyester (GRS), organic cotton (GOTS), rib, fleece, french terry, twill, canvas, denims; zippers (YKK or specified), buttons, woven labels, hang tags, polybags.
• Home textiles — bed linen, duvet sets, towels (cotton/microfibre), bathrobes, tablecloths, napkins, cushions, throw pillows, blankets, curtains, kitchen towels, aprons.
• Accessories — face masks, headwear (baseball caps, bucket hats, beanies), bags (canvas tote bags, cotton shopping bags, backpacks, pouches), scarves, socks, ties, handkerchiefs, promotional give-away textiles.

Standard Specifications & Packaging

Textile quality is 90% set in the written tech-pack specification and the cutting/bulk-fabric approval stage. We don't move to cutting until the size set, fabric batch, and trim list are all physically approved.

• Fabric specs — fibre content tested (burn + lab where contract value >$50k), GSM/oz tolerance ±5%, colour lab-dip approval in D65/Tube daylight conditions against your Pantone TPX/TCX reference, wash-shrinkage tolerance (<3% length / <2% width domestically-washed), pilling and colourfastness (crocking/wash/light to buyer spec).
• Construction — seam stitches per inch / SPI, stitch classes, binding widths, placket/interlining specifications, pattern grading (XS-5XL) against your graded pattern set; subcontracting to off-site sewing rooms is not allowed without written notification and inspection.
• Decoration — embroidery (stitch count, backing, no loose threads), screen print (water-based/plastisol/discharge, cracking test after wash), DTG, heat transfer, digital sublimation, woven/printed labels, size tabs, care labels with country-of-origin + symbol set per EU/US/UK/CA/AU regulation.
• Inner packaging — individual polybag (warning suffocation label EU/US for children's/soft goods), tissue/interleaving paper, cardboard header/collar stiffener, hang tag with UPC/EAN, size sticker; retail hang-pack for supermarket/Noon/Amazon.ae where requested.
• Master cartons — 50/100/200 pcs per carton, assortments (size/colour) per carton on packing list, box weight typically 20–25 kg gross; carton shipping marks printed, not stickered; solid cartons by size/colour unless mixed-assortment PO specifically requested.

Compliance & Export Documentation

Textile compliance is more nuanced than most categories: the list of restricted substances (AZO dyes, APEO/NPEO, PFCs/PFAS, phthalates, formaldehyde) changes by market, and children's clothing (drawstrings, buttons, small parts) has additional mandatory requirements in every major market. We map your category and market against the exact restricted list before fabric dyeing, not after production.

• Factory-side verification — dye-house chemical inventory, restricted substance list (RSL) policy, actual SEDEX/SMETA or BSCI social compliance audit status verified on-site; no "social compliance copy" showroom documents only.
• Standard export set — Commercial invoice, packing list with per-SKU/per-size/per-colour breakdown, CCPIT Certificate of Origin, supplier declaration of fibre content, and MSDS/TDS for any printed/coated SKUs.
• Fabric testing — EN ISO 105 colour fastness, EN ISO 1833 fibre composition (quantitative), ISO 14184 formaldehyde, EN 14362 AZO dyes, REACH SVHC (EU), CPSIA lead + phthalates + tracking label (US children's), CA Prop 65 (CA US), flammability standards (16 CFR 1610 US apparel, EN 1103 EU, AS/NZS 3744 AU home textiles).
• EU & UK UKCA/CE PPE — where the apparel is PPE-category (hi-vis, protective workwear, medical masks, etc.) we confirm actual CE/UKCA PPE Module B+C2 or D certificate against the real Technical File, not a generic "test report only".
• Americas/LATAM / Middle East / Africa — children's sleepwear flammability (US 16 CFR 1615/1616), SABER/ESMA textile labelling requirements (Arabic dual-language care label, fibre content, country of origin for Saudi/UAE/GCC), SFDA textile touches-skin category for Saudi Gulf exporters, and SONCAP (Nigeria) / PVoC (Kenya, Tanzania) where applicable.

Order Structure

• MOQ: typically 1,000 pcs cut-and-sew per colour; 500 pcs for existing factory body + new print/embroidery; 100 pcs minimum for simple accessories (tote bags, caps, t-shirts) on catalogue fabrics; fabric-order MOQs apply to special-dye or GOTS/GRS material runs.
• Private label & custom: hang tag / woven label / care label artwork prepared from your brand files, or designed and approved via PDF proof; tech pack drafting available if you don't have internal tech designers; pattern drafting / fit-sample / pre-production sample (PPS) 2–3 rounds included.
• Lead times: 7–12 days ex-factory for re-order on existing body/fabric; 21–35 days for new pattern + PPS + sample rounds + cutting/sewing/finishing; Ramadan/CNY lead times extended by 2–4 weeks.
• Payment: 30% deposit on PPS sign-off (and GOTS/GRS/fabric purchase order issue if applicable); 70% balance against final AQL inspection report + photos/videos of the sealed container + B/L copy.
• Pre-shipment inspection: DUPRO (15–30% off production line, size-set measure + seam-rip pull + shrink check) + Final AQL 2.5/4.0 on 100% labelled and packed goods; children's SKUs get mandatory small-parts/choking-hazard and drawstring-length measurement checks.
