How we support UAE-based importers, distributors and marketplace sellers

UAE buyers fall into four sourcing patterns — and each one needs a slightly different support stack. JAFZA-based freezone re-exporters care most about correct origin documentation and flexible trans-shipment without re-manifest fees. Amazon.ae and Noon marketplace sellers need retail-ready packaging, Arabic + English compliance labels, carton-barcode pre-scans (so the first mile scan succeeds), and FBN/FBA-compatible dimensions. Abu Dhabi / ADNOC government-registered buyers need EQ-marked electricals and SFDA or Tadweeb pathways where a product is food-contact, personal care, or medical-device. Sharjah and Northern Emirates SMEs need smaller-MOQ, LCL-friendly factories with consistent reorder capability. We tailor the sourcing workstream to which pattern fits you — not a generic one-size process.

Compliance and certification — what we actually check before you sign a PO

  • ESMA / ECAS registration and EQ Mark eligibility — verified against the UAE federal register entry (not a supplier PDF) for electrical appliances, lighting, plumbing, batteries, and other GSO low-voltage regulated categories.
  • SFDA / MoHAP / Tadweeb pathways — for cosmetics, dietary supplements, personal care, over-the-counter medical devices, and food-contact SKUs we build the document package to align with your UAE authorisation holder or importer-of-record registration flow.
  • UAE Customs Tariff (GCC CET mirror) sub-heading mapping — so your clearance agent files on the correct 8-digit line the first time, not after a 10% duty re-assessment.
  • Label & packaging review — Arabic primary label (where required), dual Arabic + English side-label, country of origin, importer name/CR number, barcode (GS1 UAE if you're selling on Amazon.ae / Noon), and Halal statement for food/health supplements (EIAC-recognised Halal body).
  • Fulfillment-by-noon (FBN) / FBA UAE prep — carton dimension pre-checks, palletization to FBN/FBA standard, and pre-shipment FNSKU verification so your inbound doesn't get refused at the receiving centre.

Port-of-entry logic for the UAE — minimising the Gulf-side leg

  • Jebel Ali Port (DP World) — default for Dubai Metro, freezone re-export, consolidated 40HQ, and Amazon.ae / Noon Jebel Ali fulfilment centres; we combine Shaxi/Foshan/Shunde suppliers into single container at Nansha stuffing.
  • Khalifa Port (AD Ports, Abu Dhabi) — for ADNOC / ZonesCorp / KIZAD registered buyers and government-account tenders; inland to Musaffah and the Al Ain border is cheapest from here.
  • Sharjah / Khor Fakkan — for LCL consignments or small private-label containers heading to Northern Emirates; avoids Jebel Ali gate congestion surcharges on small shipments.
  • Dubai World Central (DWC) / Al Maktoum Airport — for airfreight on high-value smalls (electronics spares, pharma, branded cosmetics); we do a mini 100%-style inspection before carton close so there are no surprises on airwaybill documentation.

Who this UAE workstream is built for

JAFZA / DMCC freezone re-exporters with 5-50 container/year pipelines, Amazon.ae and Noon marketplace sellers moving past the "buy a few samples" stage, Abu Dhabi-based tendering suppliers, and FMCG importers with SFDA or food-contact registration holders who just need a reliable China partner who understands ESMA doesn't equal CE on electricals.
